For my first post here, I thought I'd share one of my favorite bands. Right now I'm really hooked on their music. They are Orphaned Land, an oriental metal band from Israel. They are amazing! They combine traditional melodies and instruments with modern influences. A song on its own is great to listen to; but the best way to enjoy Orphaned Land is to sit down and listen to a full album from beginning to end. (Which, by the way, is how albums should be. If the songs don't go together, and are just a jumbled mess, I like it less.)

Well here it is! I've been considering a way to get more great artists names out there and finally start reviewing music since I am so opinionated on a daily basis and music is my life so it makes sense. So I guess I'll post videos, release information and some day I hope to have interviews on here. Get ready! It's going to be a hell of a ride!
