Heads up, folks. Here's a fun event that I wish I could go to tomorrow. Since I won't be able to, though, I thought I'd share the last-minute news with everyone. There will be a free screening of the documentary on Soul Train at Marcus Garvey Park in Harlem on Thursday 12th July, 2012. The title is Soul Train: The Hippest Trip in America.
A place for music from the land of the rising sun and the rest of the world. It's called freestyle for a reason. This is genre-less. Music knows no boundaries! Be sure to like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter! http://www.facebook.com/RisingSunFreestyle & @RSFreestyle on Twitter!

RIP Robin Gibb
Theoretical question: Am I a bad person if, when news of another celebrity/musician dying hits my news feed, I start humming Another One Bites the Dust? First Whitney Houston, then Donna Summer, and now Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees, are dead.
